We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components, preparing 2D/3D models, creating engineering drawings, and supporting product development activities.

Key Responsibilities

Create 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using CAD software.
Develop mechanical components and assemblies as per design requirements.
Apply GD&T and manufacturing standards to engineering drawings.
Perform design modifications and engineering changes.
Coordinate with manufacturing, production and quality teams.
Review designs for manufacturability, functionality and cost effectiveness.
Maintain design documentation and technical records.
Support prototype development, testing and validation activities.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of Mechanical Design principles.
Hands-on experience with CATIA V5 / SolidWorks / AutoCAD.
Knowledge of 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
Understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
