• JD: Mechanical Design Engineer responsible for detailed benchmarking, parametric design, DMU analysis, coordination with stakeholders, ensuring technical documentation, and controlling DQA documents for CNG vehicle subsystems.

• Skills: proficiency in CATIA V5, and expertise in DQA elements such as GD&T, DFMEA, DFMA, DFSS, DFS&R, DVP&R, etc

• Creation of Engineering drawings and specifications.
• Documentation of solutions
• Work closely with suppliers for development components

Education, Skills, and Experience:

• B.E Mechanical/Automobile Engineering with Relevant experience (4-10 Years)
• Hands-on work experience in similar automotive domains preferred
• Experience in the commercial vehicle industry will be an added advantage

The key personal skills for this role are:

• Good knowledge on the design of plastic, and sheet metal components along with the manufacturing process
• The requirement is in the Powertrain installation group in Chassis Engineering.
• Preferred area of work is Engine peripherals like Air intake, Noise shields, recirculation shields, Engine cooling
• system, oil fill, and check areas.
• Extensive hands-on experience Surfacing in Catia software is mandatory
• Exposure to vehicle packaging and DMU mockup
• Creation of Engineering drawings and specifications.
• Familiar with different types of truck/automotive aggregates preferred
• Strong in engineering fundamentals and their applications
• Good networking and interpersonal skills with good verbal and written communication.
• Good team player and contributor in Cross-Functional Teams.
