Senior Design Engineer – Mechanical | 10–12 Years Experience

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Design Engineer with 10–12 years of experience in mechanical design and product development. The candidate will be responsible for developing mechanical designs, 3D models, 2D drawings, assemblies and engineering documentation from concept to production.The role requires strong knowledge of CAD software, GD&T, DFM/DFA, tolerance analysis, manufacturing processes and engineering drawing standards.
Key Responsibilities:Lead mechanical design and product development activities.
Create and review 3D models, assemblies and 2D manufacturing drawings.
Apply GD&T, tolerance stack-up and engineering standards.
Develop designs considering manufacturability, cost and reliability.
Prepare BOMs and technical documentation.
Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, production and vendors.
Support prototype development, testing and design validation.
Identify and implement design improvements.
Review engineering designs and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Manage engineering changes and ensure timely completion of design deliverables.
