Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), automation systems, fixtures, gauges, and assembly lines.
Develop concept layouts, 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
Select standard components such as pneumatics, motors, sensors, bearings, and linear guides.
Apply GD&T, fits & tolerances, and company/customer engineering standards.
Release manufacturing drawings with proper revision control and quality checks.
Support manufacturing, assembly, machine trials, and implement Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, and resolve technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate with project, production, procurement, electrical teams, and customers for technical discussions.
Maintain design documentation and drive continuous improvement in quality, cost, cycle time, and standardization.
