We are looking for Junior Design Engineers to work onsite with a Cummins India ltd, American MNC that Designs, Manufactures, and Distributes Engines, filtration and power generation products on CREO Software.

Comprehensive training and mentorship to develop the skills in CREO Software and excellent industry oriented technical skills training will be provided.

Requirements :

• BE Mech - 2021 or before pass out.
• Experience : 1.5 - 3 yrs only.
• Hands on experience on Creo (Any Version).
• Good understanding of Sheetmetal.
• Knowledge of GD&T and Welding will be an added advantage.
• Good Communication Skills.

Position Responsibilities:

• Quality Engineering stakeholder for all product, process, or equipment changes.
• Evaluate the impact of process and equipment changes on product attributes and quality architectures
• Ensure product produced under non-standard conditions is correctly held, evaluated, and released

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering (Any Stream)
• 3-7 years experience in a quality engineering or applications engineering role
• Demonstrated Quality Mindset – e.g., understands impact of quality to the customer, understands the impact of various process elements on overall product quality, passion for quality
• Approaches work with process rigor and discipline – process oriented, applies the scientific method, experience developing and implements SOPs, uses data to drive decisions and solve problems using Quality Architectures/control plan.
• Strong quality engineering skill set – e.g., experience with Statistical Software package such as MiniTab or SAS, experience applying structured process improvement methods such as DMAIC, , DESGN, LEAN, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Experience working in a matrix environment, and demonstrated ability to influence diverse stakeholder groups
• Experience with system audits – e.g., familiarity w/ ISO 9000 or TL9000 requirements, experience as a business process auditor, etc.

• Mould Design & Development in Plastics with sound technical knowledge of GD&T.
• Strong knowledge on manufacturing processes of injection moulded plastic components.
• Very strong in UG-NX CAD software - part design, surfacing, assembly, drafting.
• Good knowledge of DFM, DFA, DFS, DFMEA.
• Plan and schedule designing of each mold on receiving Work Order and assign to each designer giving target dates for design release.
• Ensure that designers prepare BOM (Bill of Materials), HRS Design, Design of Inserts, in- house parts, Mold Base as per schedule.
• Finalize Details on Layout, Concept, Size, Material, Cooling System, Ejection system, hot runner system etc.
• Should have the good communication skills, team player and interaction with existing and new customers.

Roles and Responsibilities

The candidate would be trained to perform these functions.

• Maintenance of all Machines used for Charging, Testing and Production
• Interacting with Machine and Maintenance Vendors to ensure 100% Uptime
• Troubleshooting small issues and conducting repairs inhouse
• Testing of Inward material, Outward QC, In-process QC, Finished Goods, Stock Material, Field Returns, and designing testing procedures.
• Evaluating and Sourcing new suppliers of Machines, Spare Parts, Raw materials and Services
• Building technical knowledge & competency within the company
• Coordinating with utility providers, e.g. electricity, telephones
• Designing of Products manufactured by us.
• Managing Raw Material Inventory

Desired Candidate Profile

• Candidate must have technical training from vocational institutes or have a degree or diploma related to electronics / electrical.
• Candidate must have good hands-on capability in soldering, repairing, and assembly.
• Candidate should have a keen interest in solving technical problems.
• Candidate should have basic knowledge of using computers & MS Office Applications
• Would prefer candidates who reside in or near Vasai
• Candidate should have good communication skills in Verbal & Writing
• Candidate should be able to work as part of a team

Product will be manufactured and assembled on the production line including the design of packaging, ensuring the right quantity of products are delivered and aligned to support the speed of the production line.

Key Accountabilities / How You Will Spend Your Days

• Direct a comprehensive Cockpit Domain Controller 4WH product strategy, product features and services from product conception and definition through end of life
• Perform insightful trend, market, customer and competitive analysis, combined with technology innovation, as a core driver for Visteon’s CDC 4WH product portfolio
• Create & maintain market-driven CDC 4WH product technology roadmaps and work closely with engineering teams for implementation of the roadmap while managing risk and ensuring regulatory and policy compliance
• Lead the definition and execution of proof-of-concept projects as required to develop innovative technical solutions for the product
• Communicate CDC 4WH product strategy with clarity and purpose to all internal and external stakeholders while identifying and resolving sequencing and prioritization conflicts
• Drive innovation in both engineering and marketing
• Work closely with customer business groups to provide detailed CDC 4WH product & technology knowledge, competitive insight, and pricing assistance necessary to win business at key accounts and grow share
• Proactively meet with automotive OEMs – existing customers and others – to understand their software defined vehicle strategy, challenges, requirements and explain Visteon’s product value proposition
• Support creative marketing of the product to help improve Visteon’s brand recognition
• Master the value-chain, identify and develop relationship with key ecosystem partners that are critical to success
• Ensure Partner System Features, Functions and User Experience are consistent/ideal for Visteon customers
• Manage discipline around measurement and reporting of success, including Key Performance Indicators
• Provide dynamic and inspirational leadership as thought leaders on technologies that are key for success
• Attract, build, manage, and develop a high performing, diverse and inclusive team of CDC 4WH product managers and CDC 4WH product leaders
• Develop business plans and new business models
• Work with the Legal, Engineering and business support teams to ensure that the necessary in-sourcing and out-bound licensing and SOW agreements and processes are in place to efficiently work with partners, customers and suppliers
• Drive revenue and profit through Partnerships and Customer Agreements, in close collaboration with the Sales Team

Key Performance Indicators

• Market share growth for CDC 4WH - Generate RFI with sales, work on RFQs, and ultimately win business
• Maintain technology & feature competitiveness of CDC 4WH - Technology roadmap of the product with good depth of competitive analysis, market trends, customer insights, etc.
• Develop ecosystem – Collaborate with main partners for each CDC 4WH product line, develop joint "go to market" strategy
• Build talent house – Mentor and Coach the team to drive the initiatives to achieve the desired results

Key Year One Deliverable:

• The successful release of the CDC 4WH product strategy and technology roadmap
• Derive the unique value proposition and gain the market share by 10% or acquire new customers
• Develop the team by mentoring and ensuring the capability of the team is improved through training

Technical Knowledge and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, computer, or software engineering
• A Master's degree in a technical field and/or MBA is desired
• 10+ years of successful experience in related engineering/CDC product development for 2 Wheelers
• Proven track record of successfully building and scaling 4WH products and services
• Demonstrable experience developing 4WH product vision, product strategy, roadmap, backlog grooming, and service catalog
• Experience with Agile practices, frameworks, workflow, and collaboration tools
