Assistant Engineer - Power Plant (Maintenance)

Job Description

• Person having knowledge of Power plant and should perform Boiler and turbine maintenance.
• Having knowledge of SAP and should be able to update report and history in SAP-PM
• Should actively participate in organizational as well as department initiatives
• Should have knowledge about Budgeting and project execution
• Has Power plant Maintenance experience of 3 to 8 years
• Collects all relevant information required for the preparation of the annual plans, including historical production data, capacity utilization, bottle neck information, etc.
• Should have knowledge of high speed machineries /rotating machinery maintenance like turbines, Turbo driven multi stage pumps, Air compressors, Fans etc. as well as stationary equipment maintenance
• Should have knowledge of IBR requirements for Pressure parts and Steam line maintenance activities
• He should be able to individually take up IBR related maintenance activities
• He is responsible to ensure closure of the safety, statutory Environment compliance related activities/ jobs
• Should have experience of Pumps, Screw compressor, Turbines and auxiliaries, fans etc. maintenance practices
• He is responsible for Inventory tracking and ensure availability of Vital and Essential spares
• Should have knowledge of Piping maintenance, MOC and standards for pipeline maintenance activities
• Should have knowledge of welding procedures, pre heating and stress relieving procedures
• Should be able to plan stoppage activities and should be able to manage spares and inventory

• Good Interpersonal Skill communication skill to lead maintenance technician/ work force
