Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

• Engineer Maintenance is responsible for maintenance of all the Machines / Equipment’s in his area.
• Engineer Maintenance is accountable for all breakdowns in his area due to machine failure in his shift.
• Engineer Maintenance is responsible to maintain minimum stock of critical spares to have minimum stoppage of machines due to non-availability of spares.
• Engineer Maintenance is responsible for development of high value, critical spares, locally to reduce maintenance cost against budget.
• Engineer Maintenance is responsible to do calibration activity as per schedule by third agency & maintain records.
• He is responsible for maintaining sequential & updated copy of
• Procedure for maintenance (breakdown/preventive)
• Detailed list of the machinery/equipment’s of his area.
• Detailed list of the identified measuring instruments for calibration.
• Formats for maintaining records of maintenance data.
• He is responsible for completion of Statutory and Regulatory requirements in time.
• He is responsible to maintain daily online documentation
• He is responsible to establish, review and revise documents and quality records in section to update and follow the GMP.
• Responsible to handle shift independently in maintenance department.
• Responsible for corrective / preventive actions & problems/causes and remedies.
• Improve the availability of machine by reducing the machine break downs.
• Responsible to make the spare part drawings in 
• Responsible to do the Maintenance of Heat exchangers, Cooling towers, Various types of Gear box, steam line.
