We are looking for a Production Engineer

Skills: Should be familiar with Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel & PowerPoint

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall operations on the shop floor.
• Verify operating procedures are followed by operations.
• Ensure Proper record keeping and storage of production records.
• Reporting of production - Production, Defects & Wastage
• Able to do root cause analysis and identify corrective actions.
• Able to identify the spare requirement for the process.
• Production planning and staffing of processes to optimize manpower utilization.
• Able to maintain material consumption records.
• Material requisition for the products from stores.
• Maintain product equipment history. Support improvement projects and any other company initiative.
• To enhance process capability and reduce rejection.
• Shift handling, Manpower handling, and duty reporting.
• Troubleshooting

• 3D finish of BIW fixtures,2D detailing of BIW fixtures
• Exposure to Quality check and Concepts,Good experience in any of the design softwares CATIA V5, NX
• Should be well versed European / Tier-1 BIW Fixture design Standards like Daimler Standards, Volvo Standards, BMW Standards, VW Standards etc.
• Expertise in leading product development planning and process flow from conceptualization to product launch in the Automotive/Construction Equipment area.
• You have a good understanding of the Software roadmaps, EE architecture.
• Experience in using system engineering methods for defining requirements and conducting system-level Risk analyses using Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Proficient knowledge in risk identification and risk reduction using PHA/FMEA techniques.
• Knowledge of local and global certification/standard/regulations requirements will be an added advantage
• To coach and develop the team and individual team members within EES in System Engineering.
• Expert in existing diagnostic protocols, Has Knowledge of upcoming diagnostics protocols.
• Strong knowledge of application features offered in construction industry in the market, able to propose new features or improvements to existing features
• Adept in analyzing large set of data from field testing to draw trends, generate statistical models and inferences, and diagnose/prevent field performance loss / failures.
• Able to support in building Proof of concepts with Software Development team for various advanced engineering ideas.

Role & responsibilities:

• Good Exposure in 3D modeling/2D drafting drawings.
• Well Familiar with Unigraphics NX Software.
• Musk have extensive knowledge in Automotive Drawings.
• Extensive knowledge in VAVE, GD&T, DFMEA.

Preferable Skills:

Unigraphics NX (Modeling, Detailing, Assembly, Kinematics), Team center, ECO

Preferred candidate profile

Exp: 1+ to 5 Years

Qualification: B.tech/B.E Mechanical

Candidates from Automotive Backgrounds are preferred.

Good communication skills and ready to work in Chennai

• Engage directly with customers to provide 2D/ 3D drawings using various tools including but not limited to AutoCAD and CATIA.
• Review documentation and details provided by the customer to convert to meaningful
• audio-visual flow diagrams and architectural drawings set.
• Estimate labor required to perform drafting work based on the information provided by the customer.
• Build and maintain a library of blocks and details using AutoCAD/CATIA for internal AV use as well as specific customer requirements.
• Keep up to date on various audio-visual products in the market and provide feedback and input to team members on roadmap requirements and product direction.
• Communicate with clients by email and phone and maintain turnaround times and deadlines set by the customers.
• Collect customer feedback, enhancements, and feature requests and disseminate findings to team leaders in order to continuously improve our product offerings.
• Participates in team meetings for education and product strategies.
• Attends tradeshows and marketing events as needed.

• Operate production line.
• Assemble goods on the production department.
• Sorting & packaging of products.
• Their duties include using precision tools, inspecting parts, attaining production goals, maintaining the workplace clean and safe, and reducing errors.

• Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities for cost reduction through process improvements, resource optimization, and waste reduction initiatives.

• Safety Compliance: Ensure that all production processes adhere to safety regulations and guidelines. Implement safety measures to minimize accidents and injuries.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production data, process changes, and equipment maintenance. Generate reports for analysis and decision-making.

• Training: Provide training and guidance to production staff on new processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
