Key Responsibilities

1. Production planning and Coordination with other internal departments such as Purchase, Store, QC, etc.

2. Supervision on daily Production activity and its quality.

3. Problem-solving support to service-related issues and on-site installation of the units.

4. Support to service-related issues on site.

5. Support in application study, PPC, Lean Implementation,

6. Material management with store and its proper entries in the job card.

Designation: Production Engineer

Qualification: Diploma or Degree in mechanical engineering/polymer engineering/chemical engineering/ Postgraduate in Physics/Chemistry with CIPET Diploma

Experience: 0-2 years in the manufacturing industry (production of polymeric articles; preferably in Medical Devices) and 2-3 years for Diploma-holders

Quality: Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems. Any certification of this effect will be an added advantage.

Product will be manufactured and assembled on the production line including the design of packaging, ensuring the right quantity of products are delivered and aligned to support the speed of the production line.

• We are looking for a Design Engineer to work onsite with American Axle Pune on UGNX Software;
• Good knowledge of solid modeling and drafting; 
• Good hands-on experience with UGNX Software;
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes for Casting;
• Knowledge of Axle Systems in Automotive
• Knowledge of GD&T.

• Master s in Design Engineering / Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering
• 2-3 years of experience in New Product Design and Development of compressor or any other rotating machines applied primarily in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning or any other applications with Hands on experience in handling design activities with understanding of the manufacturing processes, mid to complex projects demanding high proficiency in Mechanical Design/Structural design.
• Strong analytical Design skills in Structural/Machine design Engineering and Hands on Theoretical engineering calculations
• Very keen on Creativity and Innovation and self-motivated to drive innovation.
• Proficient in applying the technical understanding and design principles to the product design and should be able to correlate with actual product design - with an understanding of the dimensional aspect s with respect to the manufacturing tolerances and processes.
• Familiar with design for manufacturing (DFM) and Broad knowledge of manufacturing processes and typical assembly and fabrication methods with some emphasis on comprehension of current practices.
• Experience in manufacturing process ability to corelate manufacturing requirements with design is must.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ; Well conversant with presentation through MS tools and experience of presentation

Added Advantages :

• Experience in handling Engineering changes in NPD programs
• Experience in using Engineering tools like DFMEA, DFMA
• Knowledge of Sheet metal casting design

Key Responsibilities

• Individual Contributor - handle design projects making up to resolve the design challenges and represent the same in CAD and work on component design and analytical calculations.
• Responsible to meet the project expectations.
• Provide design proposals with proper consideration of manufacturing processes and tolerances
• Perform Design calculations (thermal, machine design fluid mechanics) Independently.
• Verify functionality / correctness / manufacturability for new design component and product Design
• Work with various engineering teams to execute the projects in the areas of product development, cost reduction and Technology projects
• Conduct Design Reviews and present the work to Business Unit
• Coordinate with project engineers for the detail understanding of the project scope, communicating or sharing the findings and the challenges in the design work.

• Ensure quality through defined QC processes, internal peer reviews for all the work projects
• Produce and utilize engineering calculations and operate in CAD-Nx to support design, and engineering efforts including spreadsheets and internet resources

• We need Design Engineer having experience in die design, fixture design, and checking fixtures;
• Must be an expert in CATIA;
• Must have manufacturing knowledge;
• Developing expertise in CATIA;
• Define the manufacturing process;
• Design a Die & Fixture for the respective defined process;
• Adhere as per design standards
• Make upgradations to design as customer feedback
• Draft 2D detailing for the designs
• Create drawings & 3D Model
• Research new materials & methods of development
• Involve in prototype manufacturing with the manufacturing team
• Perform physical testing of prototype to confirm design parameters
• Ensure Design follows applicable design standards
