Job Description

• 3-5 Years of good design experience in Automotive Seating - Foam Design.
• Hands-on experience in surfacing/solid modeling/Drawing creation in Catia V5 /NX software.
• Good Presentation and communication skills.
• Foam Design guidelines and process For seating foam.

• Work experience on Seat Foam design, Trim Engineering, Class A surface design and Development.
• Be responsible for the design and development of Seat Foam, Basics of Foam Design guidelines etc.
• Check assembly and packaging constrains in respect of adjustment possibilities
• Check Foam process constrains (tool access, assembly steps) based on guidelines
• Create assembly models and skeleton using Catia V5/NX
• Good knowledge of CAD Methodology and best practices for Foam Design, Assembly Design, Drafting.
• Ensure data is up to date and reflects the required levels of maturity at any given point in time
• Provide CAD support, leading and progressing the design in line with the program timescales and deliverable cadence
• Ability to check and manage clearance to interface parts.
• Experience in automotive product development and release for production cycle comfort, foam and trim.
• Good Knowledge of Seating Foam Pad tooling and manufacturing process.
• Good Knowledge of Trim cover attachment requirement and Trim cover and part release process.
• Good knowledge of engineering release process Prototype/DV/PV/ release.
• Complete signoff DFM, DFA, DFMEA process for smooth release.
• Good knowledge on Foam DVP.
