Production Manager

Job Description

 Coater And Shaper India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations at its Gadarpur facility. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in sheet metal fabrication, customized busbar manufacturing, production planning, quality control, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and monitor production to meet delivery deadlines.
  
• Supervise shop-floor operations, including cutting, bending, welding, punching, and finishing.
  
• Manage fabrication of sheet metal panels, electrical enclosures, and busbars according to customer drawings and specifications.
  
• Lead, train, and motivate supervisors, operators, and contract workers.
  
• Drive quality standards, reduce rejection and rework, and improve first-pass yield.
  
• Coordinate with design, stores, purchase, and maintenance teams.
  
• Enforce safety protocols, 5S, and lean manufacturing practices.
  
• Track production KPIs, including output, OEE, scrap, on-time delivery, and manpower productivity.
  
• Support cost-reduction and continuous process-improvement initiatives.
  
• Ensure efficient resource utilization and timely execution of production plans.
  

• Strong experience in sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing.
  
• Knowledge of busbar, electrical enclosure, or switchgear manufacturing.
  
• Understanding of sheet metal drawings, GD&T basics, and CNC machines.
  
• Experience in production planning, scheduling, and shop-floor management.
  
• Team handling and leadership experience.
  
• Knowledge of quality control, safety, 5S, and lean manufacturing.
  
• ERP or production planning software experience.
