Senior Design Engineer - Automotive Plastic Product Design - Catia V5 / NX

Job Description

• Proficient in 3D Part Design, Surfacing, Assembly Design, and 2D drafting in Catia / NX(Surfacing is a must).
• Ability to position and manipulate models, as well as cut sections, dimension, and conceptualize designs.
• Understanding of Styling surface and dividing as per component level. 
• Knowledge of Fasteners, Dowels, and locating elements.
• Thorough knowledge of Manufacturing Drawings & GD&T.
• Understanding of plastic part manufacturing.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of plastic part design & tooling feasibility with tool direction definition, parting line & Slider/Lifter construction. 
• Target setting for parts strength, Gap-flush, GD&T.
