 We are looking for a detail-oriented Mechanical CAD Engineer with strong experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. The candidate will be responsible for preparing 2D and 3D designs, engineering drawings, assemblies, BOMs, development drawings, and technical documentation to support manufacturing and production requirements. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and modify 2D AutoCAD drawings including GA, SA, DD and BOM drawings. Create detailed manufacturing and fabrication drawings. Develop General Arrangement and Sub-Assembly drawings. Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM). Create and modify 3D parts, models and assemblies using SolidWorks. Generate production-ready drawings from 3D models. Verify design accuracy and manufacturability. Prepare development and fabrication drawings. Coordinate with Production, Quality and Design teams for drawing updates. Maintain drawing revisions and engineering documentation as per company standards. Required Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D drafting. Good knowledge of SolidWorks – 3D Part Modeling, 2D Drafting & Assembly. Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of BOM preparation and document control. Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering standards. Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office. Preferred Experience: Experience in industrial equipment or manufacturing industries. Experience with control panels or switchgear. Knowledge of sheet metal development and fabrication drawings.
