Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end purchasing and procurement activities for industrial equipment and engineering projects.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions.
Prepare and analyze quotations, comparative statements, purchase orders, and cost estimates.
Coordinate with engineering, production, project execution, and stores teams.
Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, mechanical components, fabrication items, and engineering equipment.
Monitor vendor performance, product quality, delivery timelines, and compliance with specifications.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement effective procurement strategies.

Required Technical Skills

ERP systems and MS Office, particularly Excel.
Technical costing and cost estimation.
Basic understanding of AutoCAD drawings and engineering specifications.
Knowledge of mechanical components, industrial equipment, and product applications.
Familiarity with CFS (Cold Forming Systems) and rolling mill equipment.
Vendor management, purchase order processing, and procurement documentation.

Preferred Industry ExperienceExperience in one or more of the following industries:

Pharmaceutical equipment
Food processing equipment
Mining equipment
Oil and gas / chemical process equipment
Industrial automation
