Job Description
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform stress analysis of mechanical components across Aerospace, Railway, Automotive, and Industrial domains using ANSYS APDL/Workbench, HyperMesh, and OptiStruct.
- Develop 2D and 3D finite element models for simple, moderate, and complex components using hexahedral and tetrahedral elements.
- Conduct linear and nonlinear static stress analysis including geometric, material, and contact nonlinearity.
- Perform modal, harmonic, and transient dynamic analysis using FEA tools.
- Evaluate component strength, stability, durability, and fatigue performance.
- Conduct damage tolerance analysis to estimate fracture life and support design improvements.
- Apply knowledge of FEA theory, solid mechanics, machine design, and fatigue analysis for engineering solutions.
Experience & Qualification
- BE/B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical/Aerospace/Automobile Engineering.
- 2–10 years of experience in Stress Analysis, CAE Analysis, or FEA Engineering.
- Proficiency in ANSYS APDL/Workbench, HyperMesh, and OptiStruct.
- Strong understanding of finite element modeling, fatigue, structural analysis, and mechanical component design.
