Quality Engineer

Job Description

 Nicotra India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Quality Engineer to support quality control, inspection, documentation, and continuous improvement activities. This role is suitable for candidates with a Mechanical Engineering background who are interested in quality assurance and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process and finished-goods quality inspections.
  
• Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation.
  
• Support ISO/QMS documentation and audit activities.
  
• Coordinate with Production and PPC teams to resolve quality issues.
  
• Participate in customer and third-party inspections.
  
• Conduct 5S audits and maintain audit records.
  
• Prepare Continuous Improvement (CI) and KPI reports.
  
• Maintain WIP quality reports and ERP entries.
  
• Assist in customer complaint handling and CAPA implementation.
  
• Apply 7 QC Tools for quality improvement and problem-solving.
  

• Knowledge of engineering drawings and measuring instruments.
  
• Basic understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  
• Knowledge of 7 QC Tools and Root Cause Analysis preferred.
  
• ERP knowledge will be an advantage.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
