Job Description

• New Product Development, Process Design.
• Responsible for cycle time study and capacity calculation.
• Responsible for the preparation of APQP, FMEA, and Control Plan.
• Responsible for validation special process and rejection reduction.
• Cost reduction through alternate source development/ life improvements.
• Process capability improvement.
• Low-Cost Automation, KAIZEN.
• New inquiry drawing study, Operation study & Review for manufacturing feasibility.
• Get quotations from suppliers, Compare, Negotiate, and get approval for new tools also Coordination with customers for their technical requirements.
• Preparing Development Activity Plan, APQP time plan, Process Flow Diagram (PFD) & Tool time plan, Gauges & Fixture requirement sheet & its Drawings.
• Preparing quality plan,  gauge plan, Conducting Tryout for new Tool, preparing an action plan for NG parameters, and getting tool corrected.
• Review with the supplier for a new tool and Project Status.
• Preparing manufacturing stage-wise process drawings & documents (PFD, Control Plan)
• Preparation of prototype samples, and submission to the customer for approval.
• Preparing PPAP documents and getting PSW signed.
• Finding the root cause for non-conformities, Preparation of CAPA for the product characteristics or project development failures.
• Performing on Engineering Change Orders [ECO].
• Active participation in meetings at the customer end.
• Assisting with product & process improvement projects.
• Resolving customer complaints, Preparing CAPA, and 8D Reports against customer complaints.
• Maintain documentation of records as per IATF-16949-2016.
• Conducting monthly development review meetings and highlighting delays in projects and taking action to complete the project on time.
• Maintained 5 ‘S’ in the Department.
• Conducting new tool tryouts and process validation.
• Representing the development department in customer, VDA6.3, MSIL, PSA, and IATF-16949-2016  Audit.
• Good Knowledge of ERP & SAP Systems.
