Job Description
- Evaluate, audit, and approve new suppliers.
- Coordinate APQP and PPAP activities and maintain quality documentation in Windchill.
- Review supplier control plans, FMEAs, inspection requirements, and process flows.
- Clarify engineering drawings, specifications, and design changes with suppliers.
- Manage incoming defects and supplier issues through containment, 8D follow-up, and corrective-action verification.
- Monitor supplier performance, including PPM, delivery, and responsiveness.
- Conduct supplier audits and promote continuous improvement and quality training.
