Working in the Design and Production Department

• Design and development of existing and new products.
• Creating and working on 2D and 3D drawings of mechanical and sheet metal
• assemblies.
• Should have a working knowledge of various technical instruments like Vernier
• lliper, Micrometer, Height gauge, etc.
• Preparing BOMs and BOQs.
• QA and QC as per drawings.
• Ensuring production as per drawings.
• Performance Testing of equipment pre-dispatch.
• Coordinating with Vendors and Suppliers.

• well along with the design and production department.

Desired Candidates Profile:

• Experience of 0-5 years in Design/ Development and Production
• Good communication skills
• Good Time management and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel across India

Role & responsibilities

• Manage all quality-related issues within the manufacturing team (e.g. internal, supplier, customer, and customer warranty)
• Identify root cause and instigate permanent corrective actions for product quality issues.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues that arise as quickly and efficiently as possible to prevent compromising quality and safety standards.
• Carry out product and process auditing,
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
• Quality control of work by appropriate reviews.
• Support and lead process improvement activities.
• Inward & outward.
• Material Inspection.

Preferred candidate profile

Male, DME / BE- Mech, 1+ years of experience in quality in the auto industry.

• Take active part in SKF Production System (SPS) deployment. Conduct L1 meeting and record all the inputs of L1 meeting.
• Review Maintenance Cockpit, CMMS, DDM and allocate tasks to shift team.
• Carry out unplanned corrective maintenance (UCM) & other improvement tasks such as spare parts repair, unsafe condition closure, leakage rectification kaizen closure etc. through CMMS.
• Carry out Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for breakdowns greater than 01hour and repetitive breakdowns.
• Perform BDE for breakdowns greater than 04 hours.
• Perform Planned maintenance activities (MM/CBM/TBM) on machines.
• Support to manufacturing team for quality and process improvement projects.
• Maintain history of machine breakdowns, shift log and other shift management documents.
• Perform spare parts management to ensure spare part availability.
• Support maintenance planner to execute maintenance program such as MM, PM. Lead and execute PM during the shift.
• Review DDM system. Identify and eliminate unsafe conditions/unsafe acts/abnormality tags (Red tags) and all type of leakages [SAFAL tags] and wastes.
• Propagate energy awareness amongst teams and carry out energy conservation projects.
• Support to EHS activities.
• Ensure 5S in the workshops.
• Perform shift changeover and communicate pending work to next shift.
• Escalate urgent matters to concern superior.
• Develop training plan for multiskilling of candidates.

• Verify operating procedures are followed by operations.
• Ensure proper records keeping and storage of production records.
• Maintain and implement preventive maintenance plan for the process.
• Comply with safety policies and practices of the company.
• Reporting of production Production, Defects & Wastage.
• Able to do root cause analysis and identify corrective actions.
• Able to identify the spares requirement for the process.
• Production planning and staffing of processes to optimize manpower utilization.
• Able to maintain material consumption records.
• Material requisition for the job from stores.
• Ensure minimum quantities at process area for given job order.
• Ensure that the in process testing is carried out as per control plans.
• Ensure production plan is communicated in advance to the process along with ensuring required input raw materials.
• Maintain production equipment history. Support improvement projects and any other company initiative.
