QMS Engineer & Safety Officer

Job Description

 We are seeking a proactive QMS Engineer & Safety Officer to manage ISO systems, coordinate audits, maintain QMS documentation, ensure quality and environmental compliance, and implement workplace safety practices.
Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
  
• Maintain QMS, environmental and safety documentation and records.
  
• Coordinate internal, external, certification and customer audits.
  
• Organize Management Review Meetings.
  
• Track non-conformities, CAPA and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
  
• Monitor statutory, regulatory and internal policy compliance.
  
• Conduct workplace safety inspections and risk assessments.
  
• Identify workplace hazards and implement preventive measures.
  
• Ensure PPE compliance and conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks.
  
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses.
  
• Monitor fire safety equipment and emergency preparedness.
  
• Maintain safety and statutory records.
  
• Coordinate waste disposal and housekeeping activities.

• Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
  
• B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
  

• 3–4 years of relevant experience.
  
• Experience in QMS, EMS, OSHMS and audit coordination preferred.
  

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  
• Internal Audits and CAPA.
  
• Risk Assessment and Industrial Safety.
  
• MS Office and compliance record management.
  
• Good communication, coordination and documentation skills.
