Scope of Work:

PRIMARY

To oversee all Quality assurance and Quality control activities for the project covering Design/ Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Inspection/ Testing and Commissioning phases Responsible for advising and guiding project line management on all Quality and verification activities and related technical matters Responsible for Establishment, implementation, operation and maintenance of Quality Management System for projects in accordance with applicable standard Responsible for Identification, allocation of quality resources and implement Quality training for all project personnel and overseeing all personnel understand and effectively deliver their responsibilities as per quality plan and procedures Management of Non conformity process, Implement corrective and Preventive action & monitor its effectiveness

FUNCTIONALLY

Leading Quality Audit (Internal and external) and manage multi-discipline QA/ QC teams Conduct Project Quality System review meeting regularly with project team

TECHNICAL

Should have experience in Quality Management in EPC phases of oil and gas projects.

Should have experience for working with international clients in India or abroad. Should be an IRCA qualified QMS Lead Auditor. Should have worked as a "Project Quality Manager for mega sized Oil and Gas projects. Should be familiar with international codes and standards used in Oil and gas industries.

• Experience in heavy Fabrication and machining
• Good in-depth knowledge of fabrication
• Verification of drafted drawings before release
• Verification of operations & quality stages in ERP
• Preparation of quality plans in ERP QC documents review

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Welding Fixtures, Drill Jigs, Lifting Fixtures & Access Platforms
• Create and maintain 3D Models, Assemblies & Manufacturing Drawings using SolidWorks
• Perform Fixture Design Calculations and validate design feasibility
• Review manufacturing drawings and conduct quality checks
• Apply GD&T, Limits, Fits & Tolerances in tooling designs
• Perform Tolerance Stack-Up Analysis for assemblies
• Develop fabrication and assembly tooling solutions for large structures
• Provide Fixture Proving & Shop Floor Support during manufacturing and assembly activities

🛠️ Skills Required:

• Strong expertise in Welding Fixture Design & Development
• Hands-on experience with Drill Jigs, Lifting Fixtures, Transportation Pallets & Access Platforms
• Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D Modeling, Weldments, Assembly Design & Drafting
• Sound knowledge of Resting, Locating & Clamping Principles
• Good understanding of GD&T, Tolerance Stack-Up, Engineering Calculations, Limits & Fits
• Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings and technical specifications
• Knowledge of fabrication, welding processes, and material selection

✅ Preferred Experience:

• Experience in Shipbuilding / Heavy Engineering / Fabrication Industries
• Exposure to large fabricated structures and complex assemblies
• Experience reviewing concept designs and recommending practical tooling solutions
• Strong shop floor exposure and fixture proving experience
