• Exposure to Quality check and Concepts,Good experience in any of the design softwares CATIA V5, NX
• Should be well versed European / Tier-1 BIW Fixture design Standards like Daimler Standards, Volvo Standards, BMW Standards, VW Standards etc.
• Expertise in leading product development planning and process flow from conceptualization to product launch in the Automotive/Construction Equipment area.
• You have a good understanding of the Software roadmaps, EE architecture.
• Experience in using system engineering methods for defining requirements and conducting system-level Risk analyses using Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Proficient knowledge in risk identification and risk reduction using PHA/FMEA techniques.
• Knowledge of local and global certification/standard/regulations requirements will be an added advantage
• To coach and develop the team and individual team members within EES in System Engineering.
• Expert in existing diagnostic protocols, Has Knowledge of upcoming diagnostics protocols.
• Strong knowledge of application features offered in construction industry in the market, able to propose new features or improvements to existing features
• Adept in analyzing large set of data from field testing to draw trends, generate statistical models and inferences, and diagnose/prevent field performance loss / failures.
• Able to support in building Proof of concepts with Software Development team for various advanced engineering ideas.

Job Description:

• Conceptual BIW fixture design
• Spot welding fixtures design, the study of spot plan, Geo / Re-spot, Gun cloud
• Gripper's design such as process gripper, handling grippers (EGT / Fabricated)
• MIG welding fixtures design manual / robotic, Swing units, dump units, slide units design
• Checking fixtures & inspection fixtures concept design (control plan, inspection plan)
• 3D modeling & 2D detailing in CATIA V5 as well as UGNX (DAIMLER package is added
• advantage)
• Good BIW process knowledge such as cycle time, tact time, manual weld line, robotic weld time, gun feasibility, gun selection
• Manufacturing processes are proven experience in spot welding, riveting, clinching, nailing, MIG welding, and brazing.
• Manipulators design for the metal finish line, hemming fixtures design, piano clamping, gantry design
