Experience & Qualification

Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering with 3–7 years of experience in Material Planning or Procurement. Knowledge of SAP, MRP, Vendor Management, Inventory Control, and MS Excel.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Timely delivery of material/services to the project & coordination with the project team for the procurement related issues
• Once they receive the best suitable quotation then they can finalize the order by comparing the pre-requisites.
• Negotiation, Vendor Development and Vendors Evaluation for Engineering Materials.
• Raising PO in favor of selected Supplier.

A) Develop and deliver on external aero and Underwater thermal attributes for ongoing and new vehicle development Programs in a virtual domain. Role includes,

• Interpret CFD results from external aerodynamics, thermal management, and heat exchanger's performance point of view to identify issues and implement/suggest cost-effective solutions. Provide accurate and detailed reports of CFD results, providing recommendations.
• Develop Methods Process to enhance external aero and Underhood thermal domain simulation attribute coverage in the virtual simulation domain.
• Coordinate analysis activities on a day-to-day basis with concerned stakeholders.

B) Not having such a position will hinder vehicle product development and the organization will deliver non-optimized products w.r.t external aero and Underhood thermal domain.

Skill Set:

• Needs to be strong in FEA theory and structural analysis of the mechanical components.
• Thorough experience in using ANSA for FE modeling of automotive structures.
• Knowledge of Automotive Structures and subassemblies and manufacturing processes.
• Should be strong in Fatigue analysis (HCF and LCF); in theory and practice.
• Should be conversant in working with Hyperworks, and Abaqus.
• Working experience in MBD and NVH is an added advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities of CAE Engineer

• Responsible for handling all types Static Structural Analysis, Linear, Non linear, Modal , Harmonic, Fatigue, Durability, Thermal Analysis
• Identify potential critical challenges and failure modes including collaborating with other engineering teams to identify risks.
• Understand the project scope and able to calculate the loads & constraints and perform the FEA
• Make recommendations to the design to improve their functional performance and reliability.
• Work with test engineers to develop/conduct FEA simulations to verify appropriateness of test methods.
• Prepare technical CAE reports of results.

Candidate Profile Desired Skills :-

• Excellent understanding of solid mechanics and structural finite element analysis (FEA)
• Hands on Experience with Altair Hyperworks/ Hypermesh, Optistruct / Radioss & Hyperview CAE software
• Ability to differentiate and utilize both system and subsystem analysis techniques to evaluate complex interactions
• Ability to define DOEs and analyzes the influence of design parameters to optimize the product design for a given application
