Role & responsibilities

• 1- 5 Year experience in quality department SS & CS Fabrication
• Knowledge of handling structural fabricated load bearing members for Material Handling industry.
• Knowledge of the Preparation of Quality Documents like, Stage inspection Reports etc.
• Basic Knowledge Of selection as Consumables.
• Knowledge of WPS, PQR & WPQ and relevant welding process.
• Handling Third part inspection like TUV & prepare documents like (Material Heat Chart, NDT (Non- Destructive Testing) reports,
• Material Identification Report, Final Dimension Reports, Hydro Test Reports, Pneumatic Test Reports,) as per QAP requirement.
• Quality checking for welding works like DP Test.
• Day to day planning, scheduling, material reconciliation.
• Customer Handling at site
• Sub Contractor Handling
• Knowledge of relevant IS Code
• Safety & Quality Compliance
• Ensuring Statutory compliances of all areas.
• Record keeping, drawing issues, quantity survey, resource quantification, Timely mobilization & Demobilization.

We are hiring a Mechanical Purchase Engineer to manage the procurement of automotive components, mechanical parts and raw materials. The ideal candidate should have experience in automotive or manufacturing procurement, vendor management, price negotiation and purchase order processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of automotive components, mechanical parts, and raw materials.

• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.

• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.

• Compare supplier quotations and select cost-effective sourcing options.

• Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure timely material delivery.

• Coordinate with production, quality, stores, and engineering teams.

• Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) and engineering drawings to understand material requirements.

• Maintain accurate vendor records, purchase documentation, and procurement reports.

• Monitor supplier performance, material availability, and delivery timelines.

• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and procurement optimization.
