Job Description

Experience Level:- 2+ Years Notice Period:- 30 Days Max Education:- BE/B. Tech Mechanical Engineering Responsibilities:

• Interfaces with NPME, Manufacturing Engineers, Technicians, and Quality teams to develop optimal operation sequences for parts and assemblies.
• Identifies key areas for product improvements and coordinates with other engineering functions to implement changes.
• Work closely with manufacturing operations management to prioritize areas for OMS/manufacturing documentation improvements.
• Work closely with the manufacturing floor to solve the build issue and coordinate with the offshore team to complete assembly documents.
• Makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements.
• Participates in New Product Builds & Champions issue resolution. Determines root cause analysis for issues that arise during assembly and/or test of systems; provides Long-term corrective action.
• Perform time study to measure/record time for production processes.
• Performs other duties as assigned. Duties will vary according to the project in progress and/or the specific goals of the department in which the incumbent works.

• Manufacturing and assembly techniques, bill of materials, product/personnel safety requirements, material handling, and troubleshooting.
• Requires demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing engineering discipline, theories, practices, and principles.
• Requires knowledge necessary to perform the job function such as an understanding of the engineering change order process, product development process, value engineering, etc.

• Requires strong skills in Product Technology, Product Configuration and Variant options, change management, problem-solving, communication skills, customer orientation, personal effectiveness, team skills, and quality.
• Requires additional knowledge of systems and software necessary such as MS Visio, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
