Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, good drawing-reading and drafting skills and a designer mindset.
- Read, understand, and interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
- Prepare and modify mechanical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Apply basic mechanical engineering principles in design work.
- Support mechanical design and drafting activities.
- Understand manufacturing processes and their application in design.
- Apply GD&T concepts while working with engineering drawings.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to support design and manufacturing requirements.
- Expert knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Good knowledge of drawing reading and drafting.
- Strong understanding of basic mechanical engineering.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of GD&T.
- Strong designer mindset and attention to detail.
- Face-to-face interview.
- AutoCAD tool test.
- Sound knowledge of drawing reading.
- Exposure to manufacturing processes and GD&T.
- Preferred Candidates
- Experience in Hydro Generator, Turbine, Motor, or Pumps industry.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
