 Fabrication Supervisor
Experience: 3–4+ Years
Education: ITI / Diploma / Associate Degree in Mechanical or a related technical field
Industry: Manufacturing / Metal Fabrication
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to manage day-to-day fabrication operations and supervise a team of welders, fabricators, and fitters. The role is responsible for ensuring production targets, quality standards, workplace safety, and efficient utilization of manpower and resources.
Key Responsibilities
Team Supervision

• Assign daily tasks and monitor the performance of welders, fabricators, and fitters.
• Coordinate manpower and shift activities to meet production requirements.

Quality & Drawing Compliance

• Inspect work during and after fabrication to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, welding symbols, and technical specifications.

Production Management

• Monitor daily production activities and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
• Efficiently utilize machinery, tools, materials, and manpower.
• Minimize material wastage, rework, and production delays.

Safety & 5S

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and proper handling of welding and cutting equipment.
• Maintain 5S and good housekeeping practices on the shop floor.

Troubleshooting

• Resolve fabrication, fitting, equipment, and material-related issues on the shop floor.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure smooth production operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–4+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, welding, or metal fabrication.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or team-lead role.
• Strong ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of MIG, TIG, and Arc welding processes.
• Understanding of fabrication and shop-floor operations.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and quality standards.
• Good team management and problem-solving skills.
• ITI / Diploma / Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
