We are looking for a skilled and proactive Service & Maintenance Engineer to handle installation, servicing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and commissioning of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).

Key Responsibilities

• Handling and operating re & Safety equipments, Fire extinguishers.  
• Following work permit system as per standard instructions.  
• Ensuring the safety of the people working in the block.  
• Ensuring the manual packing operation of a nish product by the help of Manpower with battery operated straping machine.  
• Ensuring the spare battery for the straping machine.  
• Ensuring the settings of the straping machine before starting the packing operation.  
• Ensuring the necessary packing materials are available in the packing area to avoid stoppage of packing.  
• Ensuring the edge tape as per the product.  
• Giving instructions to the fork lift person to place the straps and carton sheets at appropriate place.  
• Troubleshoot any problems which may arise in the packing line.  
• Maintain the Production report on a daily basis.  
• Ensuring that scrap is disposed properly.  
• Giving instructions to forklift person to keep shift wise production in a seperate bay.  
• Doing Inform 4.0  
• counting the shift wise stock.  
• Production data entry in Ms excel.  
• Reading the shift report and understanding the current status of work.  
• Maintaining 5S in Shop Floor.  
• Manpower Management.  
• Plant start up and Shut down actives and monitoring the equipment conditions.  
• Carry out shift production activities as per plan.  
• Handling of drying operation.  
• PLC Operations SCADA.  
• Releasing of equipments for maintenance.  
• Carrying out AM activities. 

1. Knowledge of GD&T 
2. Knowledge of Tool construction of various types of press tools 
3. Solid modelling and assembly design in CAD software (Catia / UGNX / PRO-E / SolidWorks) 
4. Knowledge about various materials used in press tools 
5. Knowledge about various manufacturing processes

•     Design of press tools (Auto / Non-Auto) 
•     Productivity target based on on-time and first time correct parameters 
•     Quality of output 
•     Process Compliance to various processes of the Design Function 

6. Qualification: Diploma / BE / Post Graduate
7. Experience: 1 - 3 yrs
8. Good in communication

1) Should be a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
2) Should be able to use Computer efficiently-

• Should have expertise in Microsoft office ( Power point , Excel , word etc )
• Expertise in working on CATIA software
• Should have good knowledge of UG-NX

3) Expertise in Drawing and Design practices –

• Should be able to read all engineering drawings.
• Should be able to create drawings form samples or concepts.
• Should have good analytical and mathematical abilities.

5) Knowledge of Intrinsic properties of SS material and its behavior in press tool working.
6) Knowledge of Embossed sheet metal behavior in press tool working
7) Should be able to draw Free Body Diagrams ( and further force analysis ) for static and dynamic conditions.
8) Good knowledge of Applied Mechanics and Strength of Materials.
9) Good knowledge of materials and its applications. Good knowledge of material standards.
10) Good knowledge of the material’s heat treatment.
11) Good knowledge of LIMITS , FITS and TOLERANCES.
12) Good knowledge of intrinsic properties of sheet metals ( MS , SS , AL )
13) Good knowledge of all machining processes including CNC
14) Knowledge of FEA ( Finite Element Analysis ) and FEM ( Finite Element Methods )

Required Skills & Responsibilities:
• Create and modify 3D mechanical models and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor.
• Work with Autodesk Vault and CAD data management.
• Prepare 3D models, assemblies and 2D engineering drawings.
• Understand GD&T, tolerances, dimensions and drafting standards.
• Manage revision control and engineering changes.
• Knowledge of sheet metal design is preferred.
• Understand BOM (Bill of Materials) and engineering documentation.
