Role & Responsibilities

Plan material procurement and inventory to ensure smooth production. Coordinate with suppliers, PPC, Stores, and Quality teams. Manage SAP purchase orders, RFQs, MRP planning, and material schedules. Monitor supplier performance, inventory, and deliveries. Support vendor development, audits, cost reduction, and MIS reporting.

Experience & Qualification

Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering with 3–7 years of experience in Material Planning or Procurement. Knowledge of SAP, MRP, Vendor Management, Inventory Control, and MS Excel.

• To help in the Vehicle Assembly, integration , development and Analysis Actiivities.
• To be custodian of the Engg product development process and to ensure all gate deliverables are met.
• To be responsible for electric Veh DMU finalization and packaging activities meeting the VLO and other established guidelines.
• To co-ordinate activities with teams to ensure that the DMU is updated.
• To deal with FMQ, m fg. and service to resolve digital simulation issues and ensure DFM, DFA, DFS
• To work with proto and Eng. quality while build to ensure quality of build and resolve issues reported.
• To plan & support the Issue resolution.

Preferred Skills & Knowledge -

• Must have Experience in CAD platform specially Catia/Creo and exposure to PLM is needed.
• Exposure to any Electric vehicle platform/ Vehicle Integration and to have design and development experience.
• To have worked on the design release process.
• Good at communication and coordination.
• Good at issue tracking and follow up for closure.

• Creation of Engineering drawings and specifications.

Education, Skills, and Experience:

• B.E Mechanical/Automobile Engineering with Relevant experience (4-10 Years)
• Hands-on work experience in similar automotive domains preferred
• Experience in the commercial vehicle industry will be an added advantage

• Good knowledge on the design of plastic, and sheet metal components along with the manufacturing process
• The requirement is in the Powertrain installation group in Chassis Engineering.
• Preferred area of work is Engine peripherals like Air intake, Noise shields, recirculation shields, Engine cooling

• Extensive hands-on experience Surfacing in Catia software is mandatory

• Design of Parts Assembly in Wheels Brakes Function. The candidate shall be able to :
• Prepare design input sheet considering quality characteristics of the system and product from TQT HOQ.
• Prepare CAD model using design guidelines.
• Optimize for part commonization, part count.
• Verify design for DFX- design for assy, mfg, cost reliability.
• Conduct functional design review for a part/sub system using check lists and provide feedback.
• Identify quality, cost and weight gap against targets.
• Use simulation techniques to identify the failure modes and take corrective action.

Role & responsibilities

• Understanding Design documents and going through all - P&Id, Processes
• Contribution to making control philosophy, Operational Philosophy, and other standard documents required before starting the plant.
• Preparation of SOP, work instructions (WI)
• Preparation of safety documents like Hazor, and HIRA study.
• Preparing documents of wash water reuse, powder reuse, and other quality-related documents.
• Ordering of materials required in production sample trolly, sampler, QK-20, cleaning system, flexible pipe, and other tools required in processing, RMG, and QA Lab.
• Verification of field Equipment installation as per P&ID.
• Coordination with Egg. team, Field round to ensure no fouling and proper clearance for normal operation.
• Making documents related to the working of critical equipment to impart training to freshers.
